Bliss Care – 16+ Summer Internship Programme
*This is an unpaid voluntary position and not a form of employment. Reasonable commitment is expected to complete the programme in order to attend the graduation ceremony and receive the certificate of completion

Programme Overview
The Bliss Care Summer Internship is designed to provide young people (aged 16+) with a meaningful work experience in the social care sector. It combines hands-on learning with leadership, business awareness, and real-world exposure to the lives of older adults and how a care home is operated.
*Limited to 5 interns only.
Programme Aims
– Provide real-world exposure to working in a professional care setting
– Develop empathy and understanding of the elderly
– Build leadership, communication, and planning skills
– Engage in delivering meaningful activities to residents
– Learn basic business, project management, and marketing concepts
Duration & Commitment
– Dates: 5th August – 29th August
– Schedule: 3–5 days/week, 4 hours/day
– Minimum Commitment: 12 sessions to achieve the certificate

- Week 1 – Orientation & Elderly Care Insight
- Week 2 – Activity Delivery & Planning
- Week 3 – Leadership & Business in Care
- Week 4 – Marketing & Presentation
