Lorna House is bright and airy, it has a great atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and patient. Cleanliness is very good, a good variety of healthy food. Great entertainment activities, residents are alway greeted with a smile + treated with dignity. Lovely surroundings and garden.
My mum has been at Lorna House for 20 months. I’m very happy with the care she receives which gives me complete piece of mind knowing she’s been well looked after. I feel the staff goes above and beyond to see to the resident’s needs. I would highly recommend this care home.

Older Person Care, Dementia & Physical Disability are the registered (by the Care Quality Commission) categories of Care.
Absolutely. At Lorna House, we believe care should empower rather than limit. Our team encourages residents to remain as independent as possible, supporting them to make their own choices, pursue hobbies, develop life skills and stay actively involved in daily life.
Residents enjoy a varied programme of activities based on their interests and abilities, including arts and crafts, music, gardening, baking, community outings, themed events and social activities. We encourage residents to remain connected with the local community and continue doing the things they enjoy.
